Between the Mountain and the Sky is being shared in local theaters, schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and faith groups around the world. By pairing the film’s powerful story of resilience, compassion, and hope with meaningful resources, we want to spark conversations about family, mental health, and the transformative power of love.
Hosting a screening is a chance to bring your community together—to reflect on love, loss, connection, and the power of hope. Whether in a classroom, a local theater, a gymnasium or at an organizational event, it’s an opportunity to engage, learn, and take action.
Together, we can start important conversations and inspire real change, creating a brighter future for vulnerable women and children everywhere.

A screening license is required to host a screening or show a film to a larger audience and it includes:
- Access to the film during a 24-hour screening period
- A license to host a group screening, either virtually (online), in-person, or both (online and in-person)
- Permission to advertise your screening, charge for admission, or accept donations
- Advertising materials, including images and logos from the film
- A post-screening discussion packet to help facilitate your group’s discussion of the film
- Screening support

The screening license fee is based on amount of screenings, group size and venue. Please reach out for for information. If your group cannot afford the fee, or anticipates hosting more than 300 people, please indicate this on the form and our team will follow up with more information.

Depending on the size of your event, you can host a screening of Between the Mountain and the Sky anywhere—from your living room, backyard, or community space to classrooms, school auditoriums, local theaters, libraries, museums, colosseums, office meeting rooms, and more.

Yes! For an additional fee, the producer and/or director of Between the Mountain and the Sky can join your event (Subjects of film are also available for further fee or donation)—either in person or via Zoom—for a live Q&A session following the screening.

Absolutely! Depending on availability and logistics, the subjects, producer(s) and/or director are open to attending your event for a Meet & Greet, presentation, and/or live Q&A following the screening.
All travel expenses must be covered, and speaking fees will be determined based on the specifics of your event.

Not at this time—but we’re actively working to raise funds and find volunteers to help translate Between the Mountain and the Sky into multiple languages, so its message can reach communities around the world.

Where you choose to host your screening will not impact the licensing fee. Our licensing costs are based solely on the size of your audience.
Please note: some movie theaters may require a DCP (Digital Cinema Package), which may involve an additional cost for creation and shipping.
We ask for your venue details in advance because different screening formats require different file types, and we want to make sure you receive the right version for your setup.
